Worship Services cancelled until April 20 due to Covid19
March 16, 2020
Greetings to All.
At 4:00 this afternoon, Bishop Jennifer Reddall sent a directive to all the congregations of the Episcopal Dioceses of Arizona, instructing us to “cancel all in-person, public worship through at least April 20, 2020.” I have attached the entire letter for you to read.
How does this affect us at St. John’s? I truly believe that the sole purpose of these drastic measures are for the protection of us all, but more so for our most vulnerable members. As we continue to be who we are called to be, The Church, I see this as a great opportunity to seek out new ways in which we can continue serve one another.
Your Vestry will be joining with me to discuss every aspect of where God is directing us in the coming months. In turn we will continue to communicate to all of you what this may look like. In the mean time I encourage you to:
– Pray daily for one another
– Make frequent contact with each other checking the welfare and possible needs of the other
– Find ways to encourage each other. No one should feel they are along or forgotten during this time.
Please know that I remain available to provide Pastoral Care for you all. Please contact me with any need you may.

I truly believe that “All Will be Fine”. I feel that this is a great opportunity for each of us to experience growth in our spiritual faith, both as individuals and as a congregation.
Blessings and Peace to you all.
